Privacy Policy

ReaLife only works if you trust it with where you are and who you want to meet. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we refuse to do with it.

Placeholder notice. This page carries draft copy written for the pre launch website. The effective date, company details and contact address must be reviewed and finalised with legal counsel before ReaLife launches publicly.

Effective date: to be confirmed at public launch. Draft last reviewed during pre launch preparation.

1. Who we are

ReaLife is a mobile application for spontaneous real world meetups, being built for a pre launch product in the United States. The legal entity name, registered address and data controller details will be published here before the app becomes available.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details you give us, such as your first name, email address, age range and the city you are in.
  • Profile content you choose to add, including interests and a photo.
  • Approximate location, used to show Sparks near you and to place the Sparks you create. Precise location is only used while you are actively using discovery.
  • Spark activity, meaning the Sparks you create, join or leave, and the visibility settings you choose for them.
  • Messages and message requests exchanged inside the app.
  • Verification information submitted when you choose to verify your account.
  • Basic technical data such as device type and app version, used to keep the app stable.

3. How we use it

  • To show you relevant nearby Sparks and to apply your discovery filters for distance, age, gender and interests.
  • To enforce the visibility setting on each Spark: Everyone, Connections only, Verified only, or Connections or verified only.
  • To deliver messages between connections and to hold message requests from people you are not connected with until you decide.
  • To operate verification as our primary trust signal.
  • To investigate reports, block abuse and keep the community safe.
  • To send you service emails, such as a waitlist confirmation or a notice that ReaLife has opened in your city.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not publish your exact live location to other members. We do not show your Sparks to people excluded by the visibility setting you picked, and we do not use your private messages for advertising.

5. Sharing with others

We share data with service providers who help us run the app, such as hosting, email delivery and verification partners, under agreements that limit them to working on our behalf. We may disclose information where the law requires it or where it is necessary to protect someone from harm. The list of processors will be published here before launch.

6. Keeping data

We keep account data while your account is active. Sparks are short lived by design and are removed from discovery once they have passed. Reports and safety records may be kept longer where needed to protect the community. Final retention periods will be confirmed before launch.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for optional features such as location or verification. Deleting your account removes your profile and your Sparks from the app.

8. Children

ReaLife is not intended for anyone under 18. We remove accounts that we learn belong to minors.

9. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent through the contact page. A dedicated privacy address and response time commitment will be listed here before launch.
