Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

• Accounts use an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@realife.co of any unauthorized use.
• You may delete your account at any time as described in our Account & Data Deletion Policy.

You agree not to use the Services to do any of the following:

• Violate any law or the rights of others.
• Post or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Upload sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation, including a false age or misleading photos.
• Distribute spam, malware, or engage in phishing or fraud, including commercial promotion or recruitment disguised as a Spark.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or interfere with their operation.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users without consent, or share someone else’s location, photos or messages outside the app.
• Ignore the visibility and messaging choices of others, including declined message requests and blocks.

“User Content” means anything you post, upload or submit through the Services, including the Sparks you create, the place and timing you attach to them, your photos and your messages. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant ReaLife Sparks LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and distribute it solely to operate and improve the Services, and only within the visibility setting you selected. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it.

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. You can report content or users through the in-app reporting tools or by emailing support@realife.co, and you can block other users at any time. We review reports and may remove content and remove or suspend users who violate these Terms, typically acting on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

Sparks happen in the real world, and we are not present when they do. You decide which Sparks to join, where to meet and how long to stay. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going and leave whenever you want to. Verification is our primary trust signal, but it is not a background check: ReaLife does not screen members beyond verification and does not supervise meetups. See our Safety page.

Creating and joining Sparks is free. Some optional features may require payment. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms.

• The price, features and duration of any paid feature or subscription are shown before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval unless you cancel.
• You manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Deleting the app or your ReaLife account does not by itself cancel a store-managed subscription. Cancel it in the store first.
• Refunds are governed by the applicable app store’s rules and by law. Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.
• Eligible previous purchases can be restored through the store on a new device or reinstall.

The Services, including all software, text, graphics, logos and trademarks (excluding User Content), are owned by ReaLife Sparks LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the EULA.

The Services rely on and may link to third-party services, including our hosting and infrastructure providers and the Apple and Google stores. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, put others at risk, or if we discontinue the Services. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReaLife Sparks LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services, including the conduct of other members or anything that happens at a Spark. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReaLife Sparks LLC and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
